Sunday Scraps w Gossamer Blue

One more layout and several cards cranked out this weekend with the scraps of my March kit. April isn't over yet so there is hope for at least one complete creation with that kit before month's end!

First up, a layout of our other children, our labs...
Had fun with this one, because, hello, sweetest picture of puppies ever! Enough said.

And here's some cards using several Lawn Fawn and Papertreyink Ink die cuts and stamps and random punches and washi tape from my stash...

That's all for now. In other fun news from our weekend, my daughters are learning to knit with these handy little pronged thingy-ma-bobbers my neighbor told me about at Michael's. So cool! Happy weekend!

Papertrey Ink April Blog Hop

Pink and navy are the inspiration colors for this month's blog hop. Fun to finally have a half hour to sit down and create a card for this hop! Cancan was amazing but it has been a whirlwind since we got home midweek with work, spring school stuff with the girls, and the JDRF walk this morning!

I used Irresistibly Ikat to create a background with navy and two shades of pink and Bigger Blooms to jazz up my focal point die cut and one of my favorite sayings from We Go Together for the sentiment. Finally I mounted on navy and pink squares and added a few sequins and enamel dots to finish off my card...
I couldn't resist sharing my new adventure here with the pink and navy theme because navy is one of the trademark colors of KEEP-Collective and I recently became a designer! Check out my link here to learn more about this amazing new opportunity or to shop their fun keepers and keys, a fabulous way to design a unique gift for the special mom in your life and "tell her story" which is a signature part of this company and, if you follow my blog, you know I'm all about the story! :o)

I designed two bands to share with the PTI theme for the month...

You can create one that defines whatever statement you want to make! Hop on over to my site here if you want to learn more...

Happy hopping!

Spring Layout

Is it Friday already? Whoa, where did this week go? I had every intention of getting this on the blog Monday but, well, you know the story!
Ok, onto the good stuff...I used more of my Gossamer Blue kit from February to do a fun layout from our Easter weekend. Left page...
I can't get enough of gold right now and the little fabric fluffs in this kit are too adorable!

I loved all the printables that are included, too! Silhouette Cameo cut them after printing and I am amazed every time I watch it do its magic!
And here is the other side. Luckily we got a picture of all the Price cousins, which is a rarity!

Hope you're looking forward to a nice weekend! My hubby and I are off to Cancun so will be back with some cards from this kit's scraps late next week! :)

Project Life March 2015

Happy Saturday! Two weeks in with a new puppy, spring activities with the girls, launching new products at work, and accepting the fact that I may never be caught up but more importantly, being okay with it! :) Which brings me to my excuse for why I'm using a February kit to get my March layout done! Regardless, I love it just the same! Gossamer Blue February Main Kit was used for this and as usual, had so much fun putting this together...
Pops of black with a variety of pinks, gold and teal, what's not to love?
A few family trips took place in March so it was a happy layout for sure! Page one has pictures from a little getaway we took to Omaha and my trip to AZ to see my parents.

And of course, the addition of Milly to our family and Lainey's attempts to tolerate her took up a large amount of our time and energy this month. Ha! We're getting there but I cannot lie, it does feel similar to the long forgotten exhaustion of being a new mama. Laineyandmill (yes, my daughters insisted they are worthy of their own Instagram page so if you're a lab lover, feel free to follow:) are  pretty darn sweet, no matter how much work! :) So there's page two.

Off to Rochester today to watch Graci compete with her dance team...Stop back soon as I'm just finishing up my Easter layout with the remnants of this fun kit and will be posting. Lots of fun with the cut files and printables that are included. And yes, I'm talking Easter 2015, as in last week! ;)
